Dev Diary #2
I have finished the basic mechanic of draging objects around and having them return to their starting position when released. I have 2 different working procedures, and need to choose one to work with further.
I also set up the textbox to display flavortext and story. Unforunately there are no Umlaute, which seem strange to me.
I am currently trying to figure out, how to use an alarm event to turn an "input"-object into an "output"-object when certain criteria are met. The plan is, to have certain objects be placed on this input-objects (via collissions) to unlock new areas or automatically spawn new objects. Did not really got far with that one.
I am still not sure about regarding Art & Assets. I am probalby sticking with using AI generated content, as this is a free game and I don't plan on making any money on it. Creating approx 80 objects by hand (either drawing them or taking pictures and retouch them) is just too time consuming for someone of my skills. (I am more ambitious than able.)
Streamed to an audience of 2 ...that left and did not give any feedback :D
